Software platform redesign
Part of the continuous improvement process of their underwater oil platform design softwares: Subsea Studio FD and Subsea Studio EX, TechnipFMC asked Deloitte Digital to improve the user friendliness and aesthetics of some of the most critical screens and functionalities of their softwares.
Approach
Deloitte Digital has opted for a two-phase approach. A first part of study and benchmark in order to assess the relevance of the existing design choices and the good use of UI / UX practices (accessibility standards, navigation, etc.).
Then a second part of interface design in order to standardise the use of all the graphic elements used on each page (typography, colors, buttons,) but also the design of reusable page templates and finally the formalisation of all these elements in a design system.
